Welcome to Rising Tide Volleyball

At Rising Tide Volleyball Club, we are committed to developing athletes both on and off the court. Our mission is to create an environment where players grow through accountability, hard work, and a passion for the game. Through expert instruction from experienced coaches, we focus on skill development, volleyball knowledge, and personal growth.


We believe the journey through sport teaches valuable life lessons including commitment, perseverance, confidence, and resilience. Whether an athlete's goal is to compete at the highest level, pursue collegiate opportunities, or simply reach their full potential, we are dedicated to providing the guidance, training, and support needed to succeed.


Rising Tide is more than a volleyball club—we are a community that helps athletes find their passion, embrace competition, and become the best version of themselves.

A Season to Remember

What an incredible way to close out the 2026 season! Our teams represented our club with heart, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship and we couldn't be prouder of everything they accomplished.


Our Sharks made history by becoming Pearl Aspire Champions at AAU Nationals, an incredible achievement that reflects their hard work, teamwork, and dedication throughout the season.


Our Oceans battled through injuries and some of the toughest competition all year, finishing with an outstanding 3rd Place finish at AAU Nationals. Their season also included 3rd Place finishes in Tampa, at LOVB Fest, and at the Coastal Classic. This team grew tremendously, came together when it mattered most, and showed what it means to compete with resilience and heart.


Our Sandstormers wrapped up the 17 Aspire Division at AAU Nationals with an impressive 8–3 overall record, finishing the tournament strong and united. Their determination, perseverance, and commitment to one another led to an outstanding finish and a season they can all be proud of.


Congratulations to all of our athletes, coaches, and families on an unforgettable season. Thank you for your dedication, support, and commitment to our program. We are incredibly proud of everything these teams accomplished and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Message from Club Director & Head Coach Julie Bigger

Over the course of my daughters' volleyball careers, they have played for five different clubs. One of those clubs was one that I founded and served as Club Director for four years before our family relocated. Experiencing volleyball from both the parent and club leadership perspectives has given me valuable insight into what a club should be—and more importantly, what it should feel like.


To us, a volleyball club should be more than a place to train and compete. It should be a community where athletes, families, and coaches come together with a shared purpose.


We believe a great club should:

  • Feel like a family.
  • Focus on developing every athlete, regardless of their starting point.
  • Build meaningful relationships between players, coaches, and families.
  • Develop the whole athlete, both on and off the court.
  • Create an environment where players look forward to coming to practice.
  • Challenge athletes daily and encourage them to push beyond their comfort zones.
  • Ensure every player feels cared for, valued, and supported.
  • Help athletes leave the season more confident in themselves and their abilities than when they arrived.
  • Foster a strong sense of team, club pride, and belonging.
  • Create an experience that parents enjoy just as much as the athletes.
  • Build lifelong friendships and lasting memories.


We also recognize that every athlete's journey will be different. Not every player will have the same experience, and that is okay. What is important is surrounding yourself with people who share your values and commitment to growth. That includes coaches, teammates, and parents who understand why we play sports in the first place—to learn, to grow, to compete, and to have fun.


The reality is that only a small percentage of athletes will continue playing volleyball after high school. Because of that, our focus extends beyond wins, losses, and statistics. We focus on the entire journey and the lessons learned along the way. Our goal is to help develop strong, confident athletes who are prepared for success both on and off the court.


At the conclusion of every season, I ask our families to share their experiences with the club. Each year, I am humbled and grateful for the feedback we receive. Reading their testimonials reminds me why we started this club and reinforces the culture we have worked so hard to build.


After reflecting on this season's responses, I am proud to say that I believe we have created the kind of club I always hoped my own daughters would have the opportunity to be a part of—a club built on development, relationships, accountability, and genuine care for every athlete.
